User-visible changes in StarPlot 0.95.5: ---------------------------------------- New features: * One can now select between several sets of distance units, including the options to view distances in AU and miles or km at large scales. * New button permits setting the chart to the orientation seen from Earth. * Search algorithm now allows more precise selection of results (see docs). * New dialog Stars -> Calculate Distance allows calculation of the distance between two arbitrary coordinates. Minor tweaks: * Default help browser on Mac OS X is now /usr/bin/open so that system default web browser is used to view documentation. * Some speed optimization of starconvert program. * Starconvert program now recognizes --add-sun and --no-add-sun flags. * Starpkg script now understands --quiet / --verbose flags and can pass an option to starconvert with --starconvert-option flag. (Use repeated --starconvert-option flags to pass through more than one option.) * Official desktop entry is available for xdg-compliant desktop environments.
